Marcus is sitting in the ruins of St. John's Episcopal church, built in 1852 in Harpers Ferry.

We had reached Harpers Ferry W. Virginia. This small town is home to major Civil War history. It is very unique being built on the slopes of a small penninsula where two rivers converge. In the distance is a railway that runs through the mountain.

A man by the nickname of Bluemoon planned to take us to Washington D.C. on the train from Harpers Ferry.

Sept 7
Paul Rosa (Bluemoon) of Harpers Ferr Had taken us to Washington D.C., and given us a place to stay for a couple of days. We met up with him again later down the trail.
